5 Anime Series to Watch on Netflix This 2025

Admin 1 month ago 0 15

Anime is not for everyone – let’s just put it out there. I have had a love-hate relationship with anime all my life, but recently, I have been seeing myself watching anime series more. Netflix has a good selection of anime series. Some are classic series, while others are new ones. We’ve just welcomed the new year, and that means we have an entire year to watch new anime series and re-watch our favorites.

If you’re looking for great anime series recommendations for your TV streaming, you can never go wrong with these series. You might even watched some of them already… but I’ll share them anyway. Let’s start!

Hunter x Hunter

Hunter x Hunter is my favorite anime right now. It’s all about Gon Freecs, a young man who became a hunter to find his father, who’s also a hunter. Along the way, he meets new friends, learns about the world, fights extremely strong hunters, and works on himself to be one of the best hunters in the world. It has 148 episodes total, so you should be occupied for at least a week or more.

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.

If you enjoy deadpan series, you’ll enjoy The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. It’s about a high school student with psychic abilities. As a kid who wants to enjoy his life as normal, he tries his best to conceal his powers. However, life has a different plan, and he often finds himself in a situation where using his powers can be necessary — which he does… but subtly.

It’s a light and fun anime series to watch with friends or yourself. It has 120 episodes to date, and the newest season can be watched on Netflix. When you stream this anime, we highly recommend having a fast internet connection like Metronet offers. You won’t even realize how far you’ve watched it when you start watching it.

      Ranma ½

Ranma ½’s is a relatively old anime series, but a new adaptation was released on Netflix in 2024. It’s about Ranma Saotome, a boy who turns into a girl when exposed to cold water. But if he’s exposed to hot water, he returns to being a boy. Since he was a kid, he has been training in martial arts. However, a training accident led him to this weird situation. It’s a romantic comedy series that everyone can enjoy.

        Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Like Hunter x Hunter, Demon Slayer also has a big following base. It’s one of the biggest anime series of the generation. The story is about Tanjiro and her sister Nezuko, a human-turned-demon due to a family slaughter that left them by themselves. Tanjiro is training to be a Demon Slayer to become a part of the Demon Slayer Corps. His main goal is to turn her sister into a human again.

The anime series currently has 63 episodes. If you’re planning to binge-watch Demon Slayer, make sure your internet service provider is on top of its game so you can fully enjoy the story. It took me a while to keep up with the seasons, but it’s all worth it.

          Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma

If you’re a foodie like me, Food Wars! will be on top of your list, for sure, if it isn’t yet. It’s about Soma Yukihira, the son of an exceptionally talented chef/restaurant owner. Soma was enrolled by his father in a prestigious culinary school, which he himself once attended. You’ll be able to see mouthwatering dishes made by these talented individuals, including Soma.

            Wrapping Up

You might have noticed that some of the anime series listed here are a bit older than others. However, if you haven’t watched these series yet, you’re missing out! I swear by these anime series, and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed in them. Let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy them!
